Common questions

Chrome vanadium or chrome molybdenum keys — which do I need?
Chrome vanadium is the industrial-use range: stronger, harder and more durable than regular carbon steels. Chrome molybdenum (CrMo) is the heavy-duty series — the highest quality steel in the range, particularly hard and strong with an amount of flex, ideal when more torque is required.
What's the point of the ball point end?
Reaching awkward fasteners: a ballpoint head turns Hex or TX fastenings at up to a 25° angle. For high-torque work, switch to the straight end for maximum fastener engagement.
What sizes does the range cover?
Metric and SAE sizes up to 36mm or 5/8", in both steel grades.
Do the keys fall out of the case?
The cases are designed to hold each key tight enough not to fall out, but flexible enough to remove easily with one hand.
