Most screwdriver handles are simply pushed onto the blade. Teng Tools screwdrivers are built differently. Each blade has steel alloy wings that the handle is moulded directly around, locking blade and handle together permanently, keeping the blade dead straight, and allowing significantly greater torque to be applied without any movement or slippage.

TT-MV PLUS Steel

The shaft is made from Teng Tools TT-MV PLUS steel alloy for exceptional strength and material flexibility, with a magnetic tip designed to maximise torque transfer and reduce wear.

Bi-Material Handle

The bi-material handle combines a rigid red core that holds the blade securely with a soft black outer material that prevents the screwdriver from sticking in the hand, allowing rapid movement and reducing blisters during continuous use.

Working Details

Size and tip type are marked at the base of each handle for instant identification, and a hole in the handle allows use in fall arrest systems, for storage, or as a T-handle for increased leverage. Designed and manufactured to DIN and ISO standards.

What's different about a Teng screwdriver?
Most brands push the handle onto the blade. Teng blades have steel alloy wings that the handle is molded around — so the blade can't turn in the handle, stays dead straight, and takes significantly more torque. The shaft is TT-MV PLUS steel alloy, made to DIN and ISO industrial standards.
Why the two-material handle?
A rigid core for support and power transfer, with a softer outer that prevents blisters during continuous use and gives a smooth, fast action. Size and tip type are marked at the base of each handle, and the handle hole works with fall arrest systems, storage hooks, or as a T-handle for extra leverage.
Big handle or small handle?
From the printed selection guide: a larger handle lets you put more power and force through the driver; a smaller handle makes fast work easier where less force is needed.
What should I never do with a screwdriver?
Don't use the wrong tip size or type (it wrecks the screw head and the tip), don't use the screwdriver as a lever, don't force it with excessive power — and never use a standard screwdriver on live electrics. For electrical work, use the 1000V insulated range.
Do the tips wear out?
The magnetic tip is designed to maximize torque transfer and reduce wear. Keep tips clean and dry, and match the tip exactly to the fastener.
