[ EXTRA STRONG ] Chrome molybdenum alloy steel drop forged cutting blades for strength, durability and long life. The standard tin snips can cut up to 1.5mm cold rolled steel or 0.9mm stainless steel. The high leverage tin snips can cut up to 1.8mm copper, 1.5mm steel and 1mm hard steel.
[ SPRING LOADED HANDLES ] The spring-loaded handles help by automatically opening the blades after each cut, readying them for the next cut without requiring you to manually spread the handles apart again. This feature significantly reduces the effort required to operate the tool, as it allows you to focus on guiding the snips along the cutting line rather than expending energy to open the blades between cuts (excludes 491-7N, 493-7N, 494-7N Tin snips).
[ COMFORTABLE GRIPS ] The snips feature bi-material grips for added comfort, support and reduced fatigue.
[ SAFETY LOCK ] When the tin snips are stored in a toolbox or drawer, the safety lock prevents the blades from accidentally springing open and causing harm to the user or damaging other tools or materials.
[ PRECISE STRAIGHT CUTTING ] Tin snips provide precise cutting, allowing users to make straight, or intricate cuts with ease. This precision is crucial when working with delicate or detailed materials and it also minimizes material waste, ensuring efficient use of expensive or valuable materials.
