Air Tools

ESSENTIAL FOR ANY WORKSHOP

Air is a powerful and versatile resource that can help you get the job done quickly! If you need to cut through steel or machine-tighten a bolt, you will need a certain amount of torque. Choosing a tool for its convenience or cost really won't do any good if it isn't strong enough to get the job done. This range of air tools pack a real punch and have been developed to exceed the demands of a professional auto workshop.

Common questions

Why buy a professional air tool rather than a cheap one?
Torque. If you need to cut through steel or machine-tighten a bolt, a tool chosen for convenience or cost does no good if it isn't strong enough — this range is developed to exceed the demands of a professional auto workshop.
Can air tools be serviced or repaired?
Yes — servicing and repair are available on request, with cost quoted up front unless the fault is covered by warranty. If a repair looks uneconomic, you're contacted before any chargeable work starts.
What air pressure do air tools need?
Most air impact wrenches and ratchets are designed to run at around 90 PSI working pressure at the tool — check the spec table on each product. Pressure at the compressor gauge is not pressure at the tool: long hoses and small fittings drop pressure, so size your hose and couplers to the tool's air consumption (CFM), not just the PSI.
How do I look after an air tool?
Three habits cover most of it: put a few drops of air tool oil into the air inlet before each day's use (or fit an inline lubricator), drain the moisture from your compressor tank regularly so water doesn't rust the motor from the inside, and disconnect from air before changing sockets or attachments. Use only impact-rated sockets on impact wrenches.
Why is my impact wrench losing power?
Usually air supply, not the tool: an undersized hose, a restrictive coupler, low compressor output, or a lack of lubrication. Confirm 90 PSI at the tool under load and oil the inlet before assuming the motor is worn — and if it is, servicing and repair are available on request.

Torque values and calibration guidance are from the Teng Tools catalogue. Always follow the fastener manufacturer's specified torque.
