Common questions
What are the bits made of?
S2 steel across the range — flat bits to DIN 2351 and DIN 3126; PH (Phillips), PZ (Pozidriv), Hex and ROB (Robertson) bits to DIN 3126 and DIN 3128; TX and TPX bits to DIN 3126. Impact-rated bits are also S2 steel. All hexagonal-drive bits are made to the latest industrial standards.
Are bits covered by the lifetime warranty?
Bits are consumables — they're guaranteed to meet dimensional standards, but wear from use isn't a defect. Buy the right tip type and they last; force the wrong one and no bit survives.
Which driver types are available?
Ratcheting drivers, stubby drivers for tight spaces, and folding-handle drivers for greater power transfer. A selection of drivers store bits in the handle, so the bit you need is always with the tool.
How are the bit sets stored?
Handy pocket-sized cases with easy bit access, plus belt-clip sets that keep small tool sets within arm's reach at all times.
