Six-point or twelve-point — which set should I buy?
Six-point sockets are ideal when extra torque needs to be applied — maximum contact on the flats. Twelve-point sockets, common in aircraft maintenance and engineering, connect at more angles and suit confined spaces and fast, lighter work. Both are designed to contact the fastener away from the corners, dramatically reducing slippage and rounding.
What are the sockets made of?
High-grade chrome vanadium steel, clearly size-marked, in metric and SAE. Sets are manufactured to DIN 3120, DIN 3124 and ISO 2725; hex bit sockets to DIN 7422; impact sets to DIN 3121, DIN 3129 and ANSI.
What is the Mecca Pro case?

Can I use these sockets on an impact gun?
Only impact-rated sockets belong on impact tools. Note that DIN-standard impact sockets require a retaining ring and pin to safely secure the socket to the impact tool — chrome sockets from hand sets should never be used on impact guns.
