The 35-piece 1/4-inch socket set uses 6-point sockets for precise fastener contact on smaller hardware. The 19-piece 3/8-inch set, also 6-point, covers the mid-range. The 17-piece 1/2-inch set uses 12-point sockets for easier engagement in tight spots.
