The Foam Series uses three-color pre-cut high-density EVA foam modules where every tool has its own dedicated place with its description imprinted directly into the foam. How are Teng tool kits put together?
Each kit has been compiled with the help of technicians from various trades, and kits come in many shapes and sizes — from full stacks and roller cabinets to top boxes and portable cases. The tools arrive already organized in trays, not loose in drawers.
What's the difference between TT tray kits and Foam kits?
TT Series kits use durable recyclable plastic trays — space-saving (more tools per drawer), lightweight, corrosion-resistant and easy to wipe clean, ideal for busy or damp workshop environments. Foam Series kits sit each tool in a three-color EVA foam cutout with its description imprinted next to it, so a missing tool shows instantly — the choice where tool control and protection matter most. Use the Tray Style filter to shop one or the other.
Which kit size do I need?
The range runs from portable service cases up to full stacks with over 1,000 tools in a 26" wide stack. If you're starting out, a mid-size roller cabinet kit covers general work and grows with you — every kit is part of the Get Organized™ system, so you can add clicked-in tool sets tray by tray later instead of buying a new kit.
Can I add tools to a kit later?
Yes — that's the point of the system. Kits are built from the same tool trays sold individually (over 240 tool sets), and every tray clicks together and fits the cabinet drawers. Buy the kit once, then extend it set by set.
Are foam kits worth it for cold workshops?
The foam is specifically made for it — the high quality foam stays soft and flexible even in cold environments, and the three-layer coloring keeps tool positions visible in any light.
Can I get a custom foam kit built around my existing tools?
