Why this one
Square drive to hex connection
This adaptor features a 1/4 inch female square drive on one end and a 1/4 inch female hex opening on the other, letting you use standard 1/4 inch hex screwdriver bits with your ratchet handle.
CrV steel construction
Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel, this adaptor delivers the toughness needed for repeated torque cycles without deforming the internal hex or the square drive.
DIN 1173 specification
Built to the DIN 1173 standard for bit holders, this adaptor meets defined dimensional and performance requirements.
Chrome finish for durability
The chrome finish protects the outer surfaces from moisture and corrosion, extending the service life of the adaptor in damp workshops or outdoor conditions.
Practical workshop accessory
Keep this adaptor in your socket tray alongside your regular sockets so a hex-head fastener never forces you to change tools.
Read the full description
The Teng Tools M140060-C is a 1/4 inch square drive to 1/4 inch hex adaptor that bridges two of the most common tool interfaces in any workshop. Seat it in a ratchet handle and drive standard 1/4 inch hex bits with the speed and control of a socket wrench.
Manufactured from CrV steel and built to the DIN 1173 standard, this adaptor is designed to hold its shape under repeated torque loads. The chrome finish adds a layer of corrosion protection that keeps the tool working smoothly in all shop conditions.
The overall length is 25 mm (approximately 1 inch), making it compact enough to work in confined areas where longer adaptors would not fit. The female square drive accepts any standard 1/4 inch drive tool, while the female hex opening grips 1/4 inch bits firmly to prevent wobble during driving.
Whether you are running fasteners on an assembly line, servicing electronics enclosures, or tackling light automotive work, this adaptor lets you reach hex-head fasteners without switching away from your ratchet. It is sold individually, so you can add exactly the configuration you need to your existing socket collection.
