The Teng Tools M140704-C is a 1/4 inch drive TX-E socket in size E4. TX-E is the external, or E-Torx, profile: the socket fits over a male Torx head bolt, the opposite of a Torx bit socket that goes into the fastener.
E-Torx head bolts turn up on modern vehicles and equipment where a hex socket will not fit the head. Match the E4 size to the bolt, then drive this e torx socket with any 1/4 inch drive ratchet, extension or adapter. Use it to fill a gap in your 1/4 inch drive sockets or replace a lost E4 from a set.
