The swivel-mounted HSS blade knives are the key to this tool's versatility. Instead of requiring you to tilt or reposition the handle for every contour, the blade pivots on its own to follow the shape of the workpiece. Run it along the inside of a freshly cut pipe and the edge comes out smooth in a single pass. Turn it to a drilled hole in a bracket or panel and the blade seats itself against the rim without extra effort. That automatic adaptation saves time and produces a more consistent finish than a fixed-blade alternative.
Each tool is supplied with 2 HSS knife blades, so you are ready to work straight out of the package. HSS holds a keen edge through many passes, keeping your finish quality high and your blade changes infrequent. When the blades do wear, the DET01RK replacement kit gets you back to full sharpness without replacing the entire handle.
