Three-piece pinch-off clamp set covering hose ranges from 6 to 57mm (1/4 to 2-1/4 inch). Each clamp shuts off flow in a flexible hose temporarily, so a fuel, coolant or vacuum line can be disconnected without draining the system. These are service clamps, not the worm-drive bands that hold a hose onto a stub permanently. The jaws are profiled to spread the load rather than crease the hose, which protects the internal lining, and the non-conductive bodies keep them safe to use near fuel and live circuits. Use on flexible hose only, never a rigid or braided line. Supplied in a tool tray module size 1 (TT1) for the Teng Tools Tool Control System.
