6 Inch Hacksaw Blades

The Teng Tools 705-5 is a pack of five replacement blades for Teng Tools mini hacksaws. Teng Tools makes them as spare blades suitable for use with both the 705 and the 705A models.

Each one is a metal cutting blade with 24 teeth per inch (24 TPI), and each is a 6 inch blade with a blade length of 150 mm (5.9 in). A fine pitch such as 24 TPI keeps several teeth on thin stock at once, which suits tube, thin wall pipe, sheet, small bar, bolts and threaded rod. The compact saw these blades fit reaches into cabinets, behind panels and between pipes where a full size frame will not go.

The pack weighs 13 g (0.46 oz), so it travels with the saw in a toolbox tray, a pouch or a case, and a blunt or broken blade can be swapped at the job. Start each cut with a few short strokes to set the kerf, then use the full length of the blade with steady strokes and let the teeth cut.

The saw is not included. These blades are listed for the Teng Tools 705 and 705A; fit in any other saw is not stated.
