Wheel Nut Set

Everything for taking wheels off and putting them back on correctly, in one Teng Tools bundle. The wheel tool set breaks the nuts loose with its breaker bar, extension and wheel nut sockets, and the torque wrench tightens them back to the vehicle spec.

The TEXW05 wheel socket set holds a 1/2 inch breaker bar, 450 mm (17.7 inch) long and made to DIN 3122, a 125 mm (4.9 inch) 1/2 inch drive impact extension bar for recessed rims, and three impact wheel nut sockets in 17, 19 and 21 mm. The sockets are long reach with protective nylon sleeves to avoid damage to wheels. The tools are held in a three colour, pre-cut, high-density EVA foam inlay, module size X4 (FOAMX4), so a missing piece shows at a glance.

The 1292UAG-EP is the torque wrench 1/2 drive half of the bundle. It is designed for applying a specific, user-set torque when tightening fasteners, so each wheel nut goes back to the figure in the vehicle handbook rather than by feel.

• LUG NUT SOCKETS IN 17, 19 AND 21 MM — Three 1/2 inch drive impact wheel nut sockets cover the 17, 19 and 21 mm sizes.
