Tool Box Fixing Brackets

The Teng Tools TCF03 fixing brackets are designed to secure a Teng Tools middle box to a Teng Tools cabinet, and are the brackets for the 53 inch top box. They bolt to the box and clip on to the lip of the roller cabinet, which prevents the box from tipping when the stack system is moved.

A roller cabinet is meant to travel: across the workshop, out to a vehicle, from one bay to the next. Anything stacked on it should travel with it as one unit. Without a fixing, a box on top only rests on the cabinet and depends on its own weight to stay put. With these brackets fitted, the box and the cabinet move together and the stack stays stable while it rolls.

The bolt side fixes to the box and the clip side holds the cabinet lip, so the roller cabinet itself does not need anything fixed into it. That keeps fitting simple when a box is added to a cabinet you already own.

These toolbox accessories are made for one size and one system: the Teng Tools 53 inch top box on a Teng Tools roller cabinet. Fit is not stated for other sizes or other brands, so for other widths choose the matching bracket.

• Made by Teng Tools to secure a Teng Tools middle box, the 53 inch top box, to a Teng Tools cabinet. The two brackets hold the box to the cabinet as part of the stack, so a box that would otherwise only rest on the cabinet top is no longer free to slide or lift when the cabinet is pushed across the shop.
• Fitting is two steps. Each bracket bolts to the middle box, then clips on to the lip of the roller cabinet. Once both are in place the box and the cabinet move together as one stack. The cabinet side is a clip rather than a bolt, so nothing has to be fixed into the roller cabinet itself to hold the box down.
• The job of these brackets is to prevent the middle box from tipping when the stack system is moved. A roller cabinet is built to roll, and a box standing on top of it goes with it safely only if something holds it there. With the brackets fitted, rolling the stack to a vehicle, a bench or another bay does not leave the box free to shift.
