Magnetic Torpedo Level

The Teng Tools SLT01 is a compact magnetic level with an aluminum body, 230 mm (9.1 in) long. Its torpedo shape and small size make it the level that stays in the tool pouch, ready for the quick checks that come up all day on installation, maintenance and fabrication work.

It has three vials: one horizontal, one vertical and one angled at 45 degrees, so a single level reads level, plumb and a 45 degree run. The vials are crush proof and durable, with high transparency for easy reading, and are highly resistant to ultra violet light and fluctuations in temperature. Temperature proof vial mountings reduce the risk of distortion.

Three magnets on the underside help fix it to ferrous work pieces such as steel pipe, beams, ducting and machine frames, which frees both hands while you set the work. Shock absorbent end protectors reduce the risk of damage from knocks and drops.

Teng Tools states a tolerance of plus or minus 1.0 mm/m, with the same plus or minus 1.0 mm/m inverted tolerance when the level is used upside down. It measures 230 mm (9.1 in) long, 16 mm (0.63 in) wide and 38 mm (1.5 in) high, and weighs 144 g (5.1 oz).
