1/2 Inch Drive to 5/16 Inch Hex Bit Adaptor, Hex Bit Coupler

The Teng Tools M120060-C is a hex bit coupler: a 1/2 inch square drive adaptor that holds 5/16 inch hex shank bits. Fit it to a 1/2 inch drive ratchet, breaker bar or extension and it turns those bits with the reach and leverage of a 1/2 inch drive, for screws that need more than a screwdriver handle can give.

A retaining spring in the hex end holds the bit in place, so the bit does not fall out when the tool is turned over or drawn back from the work. Bits push in and pull out by hand.

The coupler is made from chrome vanadium with a satin finish for a better grip when handling it, and it is designed and manufactured to DIN ISO 1173. Teng Tools lists it as not for impact use, so use it with hand tools, not an impact wrench.
