The 6-point internal profile grips every flat of the nut or bolt head with full-face contact, spreading torque load evenly and sharply reducing the risk of rounding. That matters most on large metric fasteners where replacement hardware is expensive and removal can be time-critical — think axle nuts on commercial trucks, mounting bolts on mining conveyors, or flange connections in plant maintenance. CrMo steel gives the body the shock-absorption properties impact work demands. Unlike sockets designed only for hand ratchets, this tool is rated for the repeated high-energy blows of pneumatic and cordless impact wrenches without the risk of sudden fracture. The outer diameter of 54 mm maintains generous wall thickness around the 32 mm bore, and at 1840 g the piece adds appropriate inertia to your 1 inch drive gun. Retention is handled by pin P90545 and ring O97045 (each sold separately), locking the tool to the anvil so it cannot fly free under vibration or during overhead work.
