Fixing Brackets

The Teng Tools TCF07 fixing brackets securely anchor a Teng Tools deep tool chest to the roller cabinet it stands on. They come as a set of two, in black, and Teng Tools states them compatible with three deep chests: the TST26R5F 26 inch 5-drawer tool chest, the TST37R5F 37 inch 5-drawer tool chest and the TST53R10F 53 inch 10-drawer tool chest.

Each bracket hooks onto the side handle of the tool chest and the lip of the roller cabinet. Tightening the screw gives a firm and reliable attachment that prevents the chest from tipping over when the fully loaded storage system is in motion. That is when a chest that only sits on a cabinet is most likely to shift: rolling a heavy stack across a shop floor or over an uneven surface.

The hook and screw mechanism is designed specifically for Teng Tools chest and cabinet integration, so the brackets hook on, screw tight and come off again when the chest has to be lifted down. One bracket goes on each side.

These are toolbox accessories for the three chests named above. Fit is not stated for any other Teng Tools chest, and the brackets are not sold as a universal stacking kit.

• Two black fixing brackets, one for each side of the chest. Each hooks onto the side handle of a Teng Tools deep tool chest and onto the lip of the roller cabinet under it, so the chest is anchored to the cabinet instead of resting loose on top. One pair covers one chest on one cabinet.

• A simple hook and screw mechanism. Hook the bracket over the side handle of the chest, seat it on the lip of the roller cabinet and tighten the screw. Once tight it gives a firm, reliable attachment between the two units, and it comes off again the same way when the chest needs to be lifted down or moved.
• The wider the chest and the more it holds, the more it matters that it cannot move when the cabinet rolls. With the brackets tightened, the chest is kept from tipping over while the fully loaded storage system is in motion, so a 53 inch stack can be moved across the shop as one unit.
• The pair weighs 768 g (1.7 lb). The pack contains two black fixing brackets. The tool chest and the roller cabinet are not included. These suit a workshop, service bay or fleet garage where a Teng Tools deep chest on a roller cabinet is moved between jobs and has to stay stable while it travels.
