Large-diameter radiator hoses, coolant crossover pipes, and industrial lines need a clamp with enough jaw spread to get around them. This Teng Tools plastic pinch off tool opens wide enough for hoses from 19 mm up to 57 mm in diameter, giving you clean shutoff on the bigger lines that standard-size tools simply cannot reach. The overall length of 253 mm (10.0 in) provides the leverage to compress thick-wall rubber and silicone hoses with a comfortable one-hand squeeze. At 125 g (4.4 oz), the tool is still light enough to use overhead or at arm's length without fatigue setting in before the fitting comes free. Because the jaws are plastic, they grip the hose without cutting, scoring, or leaving indentation marks that weaken the line. That matters on large hoses where a replacement part and the shop time to install it are both significant costs; preventing surface damage during routine service keeps the existing hose in service longer. Typical jobs include isolating upper and lower radiator hoses during water pump or thermostat replacement, clamping a heater core line for HVAC diagnosis, and shutting off flow through large industrial hose runs during equipment maintenance. Mechanical jaw pressure holds the hose shut as long as you maintain the squeeze, so fluid loss stays minimal and there is less coolant to top off and fewer air pockets to bleed out afterward. This 57 mm model is the largest in the range. Smaller versions are available separately for narrow fuel, vacuum, and heater lines when your next job calls for a more compact jaw.
