The Teng Tools 940085-C is a 3/4 inch female to 1 inch male impact adaptor, a step-up adaptor built to DIN standard. It lets you run 1 inch drive impact sockets from a 3/4 inch drive impact wrench.
The 3/4 inch female end fits the square drive of the wrench and has a ring and pin fixing hole to secure the adaptor to the air gun. The male end has a ball detent to grip the impact socket securely. Retaining pins and rings are not included.
It is made from chrome molybdenum (CrMo) steel for use with power tools and has a black phosphate finish, which identifies it as an impact accessory rather than a chrome hand tool part. It comes with a metal socket clip for use with a socket rail. It weighs 500 g (1.1 lb).
Teng Tools supplies the same adaptor in TTEISK33, 9113 and 9117. Keep one in the drawer with your impact adapters and the 1 inch drive sockets go on the 3/4 inch drive gun without a second wrench.
What you get: one 3/4 inch female to 1 inch male impact adaptor with a metal socket clip. Impact wrench, sockets, retaining pin and retaining ring are not included.
- A step-up impact adaptor with a 3/4 inch square female end for the wrench and a 1 inch square male end for the socket. Use it to run 1 inch drive impact sockets from a 3/4 inch drive impact wrench, so one gun covers larger fasteners without changing tools.
- A DIN standard design for use with a retaining pin and ring. The ring and pin fixing hole on the female end secures the adaptor to the air gun. A ball detent on the male end securely grips the impact socket, so it stays on while you move from one fastener to the next. Retaining pin and ring are not included.
- Made from chrome molybdenum (CrMo) steel for use with power tools. It sits between the square drive of a pneumatic or electric impact wrench and the socket, as an impact accessory; a chrome hand ratchet adaptor is not made for that work, which is why the two belong in separate places in the drawer.
- The black phosphate finish identifies it as an impact socket accessory at a glance, so it stays with the impact sockets instead of drifting into the chrome hand tools. Supplied with a metal socket clip for use with a socket rail, so the adaptor hangs beside the sockets it serves.
- The same adaptor is supplied in Teng Tools TTEISK33, 9113 and 9117, so it is the matching single piece when one goes missing from those sets, or a first one for a toolbox that does not have them. Keep it with the 1 inch drive impact sockets it runs, so it is to hand when the job changes size. It weighs 500 g (1.1 lb). Impact wrench and sockets are not included.
