A 17 piece metric tap and die set for cutting new threads and repairing damaged ones from M3 to M12. Seven taps and seven dies in M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12, with a tap handle, a die handle and a thread pitch gauge. Check the pitch with the gauge, then use a tap for the female thread inside a hole or a die for the male thread on a bolt or stud. Supplied in a Teng Tools TT1 tray, 10.4 in (265 mm) x 5.6 in (142 mm) x 2 in (50 mm), sized for the Teng Tools TT modular tray system. Set weight 1.7 lb (773 g). Made in Taiwan.
